Nice concept from Dutch Studio Niels and Sven. Using a technique that casts cardboard forms into aluminum, the pair have made several items including seating and tableware. Though the products could be a little more creative, the idea has possibilities. (via pan-dan)

Recent Eindhoven graduates Lonny van Ryswyck and Nadine Sterk embarked on a science project/craft exploration by studying the soils/clays of the Noordoostpolder region in the Netherlands. The results of their findings are part of the latest exhibit at Gallery Libby Sellers, ‘Drawn From Clay – Noordoostpolder’, which showcases the research and tableware pieces made by the duo.
